Tilt & Slide Doors
Tilt & Slide Doors are a particular type of doors that open horizontally by sliding and
vertically by tilting. Sliding doors in particular are doors either suspended or mounted on from
a track. These doors are used most commonly as wardrobe doors and shower doors. Few of
the different types of sliding doors include bypass doors, arcadia doors and pocket doors.
Sliding doors are mostly used internally as room dividers or as individual doors. Some of
them also use it as external doors. One of the most crucial parts of the sliding door is the track
for sling door. This track carries the load or weight of the door sometimes in single, dual or
even triple track forms. Some of the special hardware for these doors includes door handles
required for sliding the door. These doors have a benefit of opening the entire side of the
room to the outer side. Tilting doors usually require minimum operating space along with a
single and manual door which requires 25mm headroom. The tilting doors have minute
clearance requirements with the capacity to fit where the other garage doors will not fit. These
tilting doors are made of a single piece tilting panel with pivoting arm fitting at its opening
side. These doors are extremely flexible doors that are mostly used for underground car parks
where the clearance between the ceiling and the door opening is minimal. These tilting doors
frequently provide a wide assortment in both appearance and material. All these doors are
fitted against the B&D tilt fittings as they offer a chance to select a door which is in
synchronization with the present surroundings giving the house or a shop a truly unique and
